Waterborne Polyurethane Mortar
Built for heavy-duty industrial environments - abrasion resistant, impact resistant, temperature resistant and easy to clean
Extreme Abrasion Resistance
Taber abrasion index ≤ 0.04 g / 1000 cycles. Long-term use by forklifts and heavy-duty carts leaves almost no visible wear.
Temperature Resistance: -40~120°C
Withstands alternating steam cleaning and rapid freezing, making it a standard choice for mainstream cold-chain and food plants.
Seamless and Hygienic
Coved skirting can be formed in one pass to eliminate bacterial dead corners, supporting BRC / SQF / GMP site audits.
What Is Waterborne Polyurethane Mortar
Waterborne polyurethane mortar is a cast-in-place industrial flooring system made with waterborne polyurethane and special quartz aggregates. With a thickness of 4-9 mm, it is suitable for industrial environments with the most demanding mechanical and chemical resistance requirements.
The waterborne system replaces traditional solvent-based epoxy with near-zero VOC. Its proprietary aggregate gradation resists cracking and delamination through repeated cycles between -40°C cold storage and 120°C high-temperature cleaning.
Stable against common acids, alkalis, oils and sugar solutions, it can be formed with integrated coved skirting to eliminate bacterial dead corners and support food safety and hygiene site audits.
Typical Applications
Food & Beverage Plants
Meat processing, dairy, baking and beverage filling. In steam-cleaning and oily environments, waterborne PU is an industry-preferred solution.
Pharmaceutical Workshops & GMP Areas
The solvent-free system meets GMP cleanliness requirements, with one-pass coved skirting aligned with ISPE best practices.
Cold Chain & Quick-Freezing Warehouses
Operates at -40°C without coating cracking or delamination under rapid temperature changes.
Chemical Workshops & Laboratories
Stable against acids, alkalis, organic solvents and oils, suitable for small and medium chemical plants as well as university and research laboratories.
Heavy Machining
The high-strength aggregate structure resists forklift rolling and heavy cart impact, with a service life of more than 10 years.
Commercial Back-of-House Kitchens
Central kitchens for premium dining and hotel banquet back-of-house areas that require both abrasion resistance and hygienic cleanability.

Project Cases
Waterborne polyurethane mortar has been widely installed in many typical application scenarios. The following are examples; contact sales for the complete project portfolio.
Food & Beverage Plants
Steam cleaning, oil contamination and heavy forklifts. Waterborne PU mortar systems have served large dairy and beverage plants for years while maintaining both hygiene and cleanability.
Cold Chain and Quick-Freezing Warehouses
In alternating environments between -40°C quick-freezing storage and ambient loading areas, the coating resists cracking and delamination and supports cold-chain audit requirements.
Heavy Industrial Workshops
Chemical, equipment manufacturing and heavy-cart workshops. The system resists forklift rolling and chemical spills and remains serviceable after 10+ years.
